I own Bliss Hifi, a high-end audio boutique, and I am listing this Astell&Kern A&ultima SP3000M on behalf of its owner. He is the sole owner and purchased it new. It is in like new cosmetic condition and perfect working order, finished in black.
The unit comes with all original packaging and accessories, along with several carrying cases as shown in the photos. The USB charging cable is not included, but any standard USB-C cable will work as a replacement and can be sourced inexpensively.

It inherits the full HEXA-Audio Circuitry and flagship AKM DAC architecture from its larger sibling, the SP3000, yet repackages it into a form factor that is genuinely pocketable and comfortable for everyday carry. The sonic performance is virtually indistinguishable from the full-size SP3000, delivering the same 130dB SNR, the same breathtaking clarity and spatial resolution, and the same effortless dynamic authority that makes this platform the benchmark in portable digital audio. Where the SP3000M differs is in its physicality: it is dramatically smaller and lighter, swapping the 904L stainless steel for aluminum and trimming the screen to a still-responsive 4.1″ display. The 2.5mm balanced output has been removed, but the 3.5mm single-ended and 4.4mm balanced outputs remain, which is all most listeners will ever need. The Astell&Kern A&ultima SP3000M is a compact flagship digital audio player that inherits the complete audio architecture of the SP3000 in a significantly smaller and lighter enclosure. The HEXA-Audio Circuitry structure pairs four AKM AK4499EX current-output DAC chips with two dedicated AK4191EQ digital delta-sigma modulators, physically separating digital and analog signal processing for a claimed SNR of 130dB. Independent dual audio circuits serve the unbalanced and balanced outputs separately, eliminating the audio switch and signal attenuation found in conventional DAP designs.
The SP3000M supports native playback of PCM audio up to 32-bit/768kHz and DSD up to DSD512. File format support includes WAV, FLAC, WMA, MP3, OGG, APE, AAC, ALAC, AIFF, DFF, and DSF. Digital Audio Remaster (DAR) technology provides real-time upsampling up to DSD64. Analog outputs include 3.5mm single-ended and 4.4mm balanced, both configurable as line outputs for external amplifier use. The USB-C port supports USB DAC mode for Mac and Windows, data transfer, and Quick Charge 3.0 charging. Wireless connectivity includes dual-band 2.4/5GHz Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0 with aptX HD, LDAC, and LHDC codec support, DLNA networking, and BT Sink functionality for receiving wireless audio from external devices.
The SP3000M is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6125 octa-core processor with 8GB of DDR4 memory, running Astell&Kern’s fourth-generation custom interface with an analog-style VU meter display option. The 4.1″ touchscreen provides a responsive, fluid user experience in a more compact form factor than the SP3000. Internal storage is 256GB with a microSD card slot supporting up to 1.5TB of expansion. Compatible streaming applications include Qobuz, Tidal, Apple Music, Spotify, Amazon Music, Deezer, and others. The body is machined from aluminum 316L, contributing to the SP3000M’s substantially reduced weight compared to the 904L stainless steel SP3000. Battery life is approximately 10 hours of continuous playback. The SP3000M includes AK File Drop for wireless file transfer, ReplayGain for automatic volume normalization, and support for Roon ARC.
