The only modular rack with active electromagnetic conditioning at every shelf to lower noise floor and reveal resolution already hidden in your components.
The Foundation of Your System. Engineered from the Ground Up.
Every component rack in high-end audio is designed to hold your equipment. The Tranquility Modular Rack is designed to condition it. Each shelf actively reduces electromagnetic noise inside your components in real time. Each leg is mechanically tuned, not merely structural. Both systems are voiced to the same ultra-low-frequency bias, so their effects compound rather than simply coexist.
The result is not a better rack. It is a lower noise floor, a wider and more dimensional soundstage, and a level of resolution that was always in your components but never fully realized. Because no one was addressing the electromagnetic and mechanical environment they operate in. Until now.
Hand-crafted in our California factory.
Beyond Isolation
Every other serious rack only solves half the problem.
The best component racks in high-end audio are built around a single discipline: mechanical isolation. Decoupling. Damping. Mass loading. Constrained-layer platforms engineered to drain or absorb vibrational energy before it reaches your components. That work matters. Our Tranqulity Modular Rack does all of that.
Then goes further.
Mechanical resonance is only one source of degradation. Every audio component generates high-frequency electromagnetic noise on its circuit boards, and that noise contaminates signal regardless of how well the chassis is isolated from vibration. No amount of decoupling addresses this. It requires an entirely different technology.
Each shelf of the Tranquility Modular Rack is a fully powered Tranquility Base Carbon XL, equipped with active EM Cells derived from the Galileo SX PowerCell. These cells generate a uniform electromagnetic field that inductively couples to the component above, drawing RF noise directly off internal circuitry in real time. Mechanical tuning handles what you can feel. Electromagnetic field control handles what you can’t.
The Tranquility Modular Rack is the only rack system in high-end audio that addresses both simultaneously, at every shelf, from the ground up. And because both systems are voiced to the same ULF reference, they don’t just coexist. They compound.
Your system defines the rack. Not the other way around.
The Tranquility Modular Rack is built around a universal connection system. Each Tranquility Base Carbon XL shelf features four precision-machined mounting points, one toward each corner, that accept carbon fiber and aluminum legs in a variety of lengths, MiG SRX Speaker Footers, or endcap hardware. Every tier, every height, every configuration is yours to define.
Start with two shelves. Add a third when your system grows. Change leg lengths to accommodate a taller amplifier. Install MiG SRX Speaker Footers at the base for direct mechanical tuning contact with your floor. Cap unused mounting points with endcaps when a shelf sits at the top of the stack. The architecture adapts to your system as it evolves.
A two-shelf rack is a complete system. A four-shelf rack is the same system, scaled. Nothing is wasted. Nothing is compromised.
Engineered to Move Energy, Not Drain It.
The legs of the Tranquility Modular Rack are not passive structural columns. They are precision CNC components machined from carbon fiber tubes and aircraft aluminum hardware, incorporating the same ball-bearing interface found in our MiG SRX Speaker Footers.
At each connection point, steel ball bearings sit between machined aluminum plates atop the carbon fiber tube. This bearing interface decouples each shelf from its neighbor while providing a controlled, low-friction pathway for mechanical energy to transfer through the structure. Vibrational energy is not stored. It is directed, managed, and drained from the system through a continuous mechanical path from component to floor.
Carbon fiber’s stiffness-to-weight ratio is unmatched. It transmits vibrational energy predictably and efficiently without storing resonance the way steel, MDF, or granite would. The aluminum hardware provides mass and rigidity at the junction points where precision matters most. Together, they create a leg system that is simultaneously rigid, resonance-neutral, and mechanically transparent.
Available in multiple lengths to accommodate components of any height, from compact streamers to full-width amplifiers.
Active Conditioning at Every Level.
The shelves of the Tranquility Modular Rack are not passive platforms. Each one is a fully active Tranquility Base Carbon XL, featuring a solid billet aluminum chassis with a carbon fiber top, an active EM Cell with UEF Technology, and an engineered Ground Plane.
Before the active conditioning even enters the picture, the shelf itself is engineered for resonance control. The chassis is machined from a solid billet of aircraft aluminum, delivering 80% greater rigidity than the previous generation in a slimmer profile. The carbon fiber top was selected after extensive testing against wood, granite, plexiglass, and other materials commonly used in audio racks. Where those materials react to vibrations in ways that amplify specific frequencies while dampening others in a nonlinear fashion, carbon fiber responds uniformly across the frequency spectrum. It does not editorialize. It does not add a sonic signature. The result is a shelf surface that is harmonically transparent, allowing the component’s own character to come through without coloration from the platform beneath it. This is resonance control at the material level, working in concert with the active systems layered on top of it.
The EM Cell technology was transferred directly from the Galileo SX PowerCell. When powered, each shelf generates a uniform electromagnetic field that inductively couples to the component sitting on it. This field interacts with the EM fields inside your component’s circuitry, drawing high-frequency noise off circuit boards and device leads in real time. The result is a measurably lower noise floor at the component level, before signal ever reaches the output stage.
The carbon fiber and aluminum chassis handles the mechanical interface between component and shelf. But every audio component also generates high-frequency electromagnetic noise on its own circuit boards, and no material, however transparent, can address that. The EM Cell technology goes inside. It interacts with the EM fields within your component’s circuitry, drawing noise off at the source. A perfectly isolated component on a perfectly resonance-neutral shelf still generates its own internal noise. The Tranquility Base Carbon XL conditions that noise before signal ever reaches the output stage.
Connect each shelf to a Synergistic Research Active Ground Block and the EM Cells gain a low-impedance path for shunting captured noise. The more shelves you ground, the lower the system’s noise floor drops, yielding more holographic staging, greater dynamic range, and spatial information that was previously masked.
Tuned, not damped. Voiced, not random.
Everything vibrates. Unlike traditional methods that eliminate vibration through absorption, Synergistic Research’s patented approach works with it. Resonance-optimized materials and signal-plane coupling transform mechanical energy into musical benefits: expanded soundstages, deeper bass, extended highs, and enhanced clarity without compressed dynamics.
The rack’s resonance engine and UEF Metamaterials are voiced to track the same ultra-low-frequency bias used by the FEQ Carbon and forthcoming LogiQ ELF/ULF field generators. Its mechanical behavior is synchronized to the broader Synergistic Research field architecture.
This is where the compounding begins. EM Cells condition electromagnetic noise. The legs and bearing interfaces condition vibrational energy. Both track the same ULF reference, so their effects multiply rather than simply add. The noise floor drops further than either achieves alone.
At the base, MiG SRX Speaker Footers terminate in precision spikes that couple the structure to the floor through the same ball-bearing interface and carbon fiber resonance chamber used in the legs. The bearing decouples the rack from the spike, preventing reflected energy from traveling back up into the system.
