First, we set out to design the highest-performing machine-built power cord we could—heavy-gauge conductors, voiced to mirror the harmonic texture, holographic energy, and musicality of our latest handmade power cords.

Then we did what only Synergistic Research can do: we infused it with the same UEF compound developed for our seventh-generation Pink Fuse. We applied the long-duration, high-voltage conditioning process used to voice our SRX XL and Foundation XL cable looms. And we engineered it to integrate—seamlessly—with PowerCell 8 SX, Active Ground Block SX, and Tranquility Pod Carbon.

SRX XL Matrix Shielding
In their journey to design our latest flagship SRX XL series, SR developed an entirely new UEF compound to elevate the performance of their previous Matrix Shielding, which further lowers each cable’s noise floor while lessening restraints a shield may have on signal transmission. SR applies this highest level of SRX XL Matrix Shielding to our new Foundation SX XL cables for a significant jump in performance over the previous generation Foundation SX. Carbon Fiber UEF Tuning Discs developed for the Foundation SX and Foundation SX XL series cables further refines and enhances the loom’s ability to cancel noise that would otherwise cause high frequencies to sound harsh or fatiguing.
A Solid Baseline for Great Sound
While its SRX Matrix XL Matrix Shielding and advanced voltage conditioning process sets the cable apart from competitors in the marketplace, it is also outfitted with three of our 14AWG OFC copper conductors wrapped with PTFE dielectric and terminated with solid copper plugs. A built-in Pink Carbon Tuning Disc further tunes the electromagnetic fields around the connector for optimal sonic performance.
SRX XL High Voltage Conditioning
The new SRX XL High Voltage Conditioning is SR’s most advanced process for treating cables with 1,000,000 volts of electricity at specific frequencies and pulse modulations for long durations, creating a canal in the conductor material and contact points at the molecular level that allows electrons to flow more freely. This new process improves upon the SRX High Voltage Conditioning process by employing new extended duration sweeping frequency plots and advancements to SR’s Tesla Coil, resulting in SRX XL cables to sound even more open and accurate than the cables before them. For Foundation SX XL, we utilize this exact conditioning process, which we found to contribute to the large performance improvement in this series, bringing the voicing of the Foundation SX XL closer to that of the SRX XL.

- SRX XL High Voltage Conditioning Treatment: After the cable is completely assembled all connections and cabling are treated with 1,000,000 volts of electricity at specific frequencies and pulse modulations, creating a canal in the conductor material and contact points at the molecular level that allows electrons to flow more freely. This allows the maximum amount of low level information through the conductors and provides for the highest amount of realism in your music
