Shunyata’s HARP-equipped Alpha V2 speaker cables with 7AWG VTX conductors and ZiTron technology deliver reference-level dynamics in a 3M length.
I own Bliss Hifi, a high-end audio boutique based in Minnesota. These Shunyata Alpha V2 speaker cables are in on consignment from one of my local clients. They are a 3M pair terminated with spade connectors on the amplifier end and banana connectors on the speaker end. The cables are in excellent condition and in perfect working order, with some wear on the connectors and carbon fiber housings from normal use, but they still present beautifully. Single owner, purchased in 2021. The standard length for this cable is 2.5M; this 3M pair is a custom length.
The cables come with their original case, packaging, and paperwork.
The Alpha V2 speaker cables sit just below the Sigma in Shunyata’s reference lineup, and they are the point in the hierarchy where the company’s most significant technologies begin to appear. The HARP module is the headliner, a proprietary device that reduces current resonances within the cable in a way that Shunyata likens to diffusion panels treating frequency irregularities in room acoustics. In practice, the HARP’s effect is a cleaner, more coherent presentation with less grain and a lower noise floor. Combined with the 7AWG VTX hollow-core conductors and second-generation ZiTron technology for dielectric absorption control, the Alpha V2 delivers a genuinely authoritative sound with full-bodied bass, natural midrange texture, and extended, grain-free treble. These cables had four days of KPIP conditioning at the factory and years of real-world use in a reference system, so they are fully broken in and ready to perform from the moment they are installed. The spade-to-banana termination is practical for systems where the amplifier has binding posts that favor spades and the speakers are better served by bananas, which is more common than you might think.
