The Shunyata Research Sigma NR v2 power cable represents a significant advancement in AC power delivery, developed using materials science and technologies derived from the flagship Omega QR. At its core are VTX-Ag conductors featuring a pure silver inner core concentrically surrounded by high-purity OFE C10100 copper, combining the transient speed and definition of silver with the warmth, power, and three-dimensional weight of copper. This hybrid conductor geometry demonstrably improves macro-dynamics and creates incredible timing precision in the lower octaves while preserving subtle tonal and timbral signatures. The cable incorporates multi-stage NR (Noise Reduction) technology providing greater than 12dB noise reduction at 1MHz, acting as miniature power conditioners that intercept power-line and component-generated noise before it propagates to other components.
