I own Bliss Hifi, a high-end audio boutique based in Minnesota. These Shunyata Sigma V2 NR power cords are in on consignment from one of my local clients. They are 1.75M in length with 15A (C15) IEC connectors. All three are in excellent condition and in perfect working order. Currently, three cables are available and priced individually.

Each cable comes with its original paperwork and packaging.

The Sigma V2 NR is the top of Shunyata’s Reference NR power cord line, sitting just below the cost-no-object Omega QR. What makes it special is how it manages noise without introducing compression or congestion. A lot of filtered power cords clean things up at the expense of dynamics, and the Sigma V2 NR does not do that. The noise floor drops, the background goes genuinely black, and you hear deeper into recordings without any sense that the music has been constrained. Texture, tonal complexity, and micro-dynamic shadings all benefit. It is equally effective on source components and amplifiers, which is not something every NR cord can claim. These were pulled from a well-sorted system, fully broken in and ready to perform from the moment they are installed. The Shunyata Sigma V2 NR is the flagship noise-reducing power cord in Shunyata Research’s Reference Series, developed using the same materials science and technologies found in the Omega QR. Designed by Caelin Gabriel in Poulsbo, Washington, it features proprietary VTX-Ag conductors that pair a pure silver inner core with a concentric outer conductor of OFE C10100 copper (99.99% purity, 101% IACS conductivity), formed into Shunyata’s hollow-core VTX geometry to eliminate skin effect and eddy current distortions. The cable uses fluorocarbon dielectric, typically found only in aerospace applications, for low dielectric absorption and reduced dynamic compression. The built-in NR filter provides greater than 12dB of noise reduction at 1MHz, a multi-element, wide-bandwidth design originally developed by Shunyata’s medical division, Clear Image Scientific, for cardiology and neurosurgery imaging systems. The filter is engineered to be non-reactive and compatible with all power supply designs, including high-current amplifiers. Termination uses Shunyata’s CopperCONN connectors with solid copper contacts, flash-plated with nickel for corrosion protection, housed in genuine carbon-fiber headshells that also serve to attenuate micro-vibrations. Despite being a 6AWG cord, the Sigma V2 NR is notably flexible and easy to route. Each cord undergoes four days of KPIP v2 processing. The standard length is 1.75 meters.
