I own Bliss Hifi, a high-end audio boutique based in Minnesota. This Shunyata Sigma V2 XC power cable is in on consignment from one of my local clients. It is 1.5M in length with a 20A C19 IEC connector. The cable is in excellent condition and in perfect working order. Note that the standard length for this cable is 1.75M; this is a shorter 1.5M length.

The cable comes with its original paperwork and packaging.

The Sigma V2 XC is the dedicated companion to the Sigma V2 NR. Where the NR cords go on your source components and amplifiers, the XC is specifically designed for the single most important power cable run in any system: the wall to your power conditioner. Shunyata intentionally omits noise-reduction circuitry from the XC because their power distributors (Denali, Everest, Typhon) already handle filtration internally. Instead, every design decision in the XC is aimed at maximizing unrestricted current delivery. In practice, the difference between a generic power cord and a proper XC on a Shunyata conditioner is not subtle. Bass authority tightens, dynamics become more explosive and effortless, and the conditioner itself simply performs closer to its potential. If you already own a Shunyata power distributor and are feeding it with anything less than a dedicated XC cable, this is arguably the single most impactful upgrade you can make. The Shunyata Sigma V2 XC is the top-tier wall-to-conditioner power cable in Shunyata Research’s Reference Series, sharing the same materials science and conductor technology as the Sigma V2 NR but purpose-built for power distribution applications. Designed by Caelin Gabriel in Poulsbo, Washington, it features proprietary VTX-Ag conductors that pair a pure silver inner core with a concentric outer conductor of OFE C10100 copper (99.99% purity, 101% IACS conductivity), formed into Shunyata’s hollow-core VTX geometry to eliminate skin effect and eddy current distortions. The cable uses fluorocarbon dielectric for minimal dielectric absorption and reduced dynamic compression. Unlike its NR counterpart, the XC omits noise-reduction filtering entirely, focusing instead on maximizing Dynamic Transient Current Delivery (DTCD). Every element of the cable, including conductors, contacts, dielectrics, and junctions, is tested and optimized using Shunyata’s proprietary DTCD Analyzer to ensure maximum instantaneous current throughput. Termination uses Shunyata’s CopperCONN connectors with solid copper contacts, flash-plated with nickel for corrosion protection, housed in genuine carbon-fiber headshells that attenuate micro-vibrations. The 6AWG conductor complement ensures minimal impedance even under demanding current loads. Each cord undergoes four days of KPIP (Kinetic Phase Inversion Process) conditioning.
