More about the unit: The Synergistic Research Ethernet Switch UEF Mk II represents a significant evolution of the original UEF Ethernet Switch, incorporating advanced technologies first developed for SR’s flagship Voodoo server and PowerCell SRX line conditioner. The chassis is precision-milled from a solid billet of aluminum with a carbon fiber top plate and carbon fiber feet, addressing vibration and resonance that would otherwise compromise the digital signal. At its core are next-generation Electromagnetic Cells, the first complete re-engineering of SR’s patented EM Cell technology since the original design. Initially developed for the PowerCell SRX to address both power and signal clarity in the digital domain, these cells selectively filter high-frequency noise from incoming AC power and the digital signal path, eliminating electromagnetic interference and switching noise to achieve a dramatically lower noise floor than the original UEF Switch.

A critical advancement in the Mk II is the introduction of SR’s ULF (Ultra Low Frequency) Biasing system, a feature entirely absent in the first-generation model.
