Clarisys Audio Atrium

From $785,000

This six-tower pinnacle of loudspeaker design recreates live performance with surreal realism and delivers a no-compromise ultimate ribbon experience.

The Unrestrained Pursuit of Absolute Sonic Truth

The Clarisys Atrium System is not simply a flagship—it is the result of an unrestrained pursuit of absolute sonic truth. Designed not to compete but to redefine the limits of what a loudspeaker can be, the Atrium stands alone in scale, clarity, dynamics, and emotional connection.

This six-tower system rises 8.8 feet and weighs over 1,650 pounds—a tour de force of precision ribbon technology and acoustic architecture. It delivers a sound experience that is lifelike in dynamics, limitless in scale, and flawless in detail, from the deepest infrasonic rumble to the finest harmonic decay.

At the heart of the Atrium are eight ribbon drivers per stereo pair, featuring the most advanced implementation of pure aluminum dual bipole ribbons for both midrange and high frequencies. These drivers operate in perfect phase and begin radiating at 150 Hz, producing a coherent, unified bipolar field that fills the room naturally and effortlessly—the way live music does.

The bass system is equally revolutionary. It features the most refined and resonance-controlled curved ribbon panel design in the Clarisys lineup, delivering fast, deeply textured low frequencies with zero enclosure coloration. Supporting this foundation are dedicated infrasonic ribbon subwoofers, reproducing the lowest octaves with precision, speed, and visceral physicality—without resorting to traditional cone-based compromises.

All crossover components are housed in external enclosures, offering the highest degree of flexibility, thermal control, and upgradability. The entire system is constructed from CNC-machined aluminum, with every mechanical and electrical detail optimized for absolute performance and longevity.

Assembly is split between two centers of excellence: Hanoi, Vietnam, for component manufacturing, and Zwingen, Switzerland, for final calibration, voicing, and quality control.

This is not simply a loudspeaker. It is a system for those who demand the ultimate in resolution, realism, and soul.

The Science of Ribbon Mastery

Clarisys speakers operate on a fundamentally different principle than conventional loudspeakers. Full-range ribbon drivers—ultra-thin diaphragms suspended in powerful magnetic fields—deliver performance impossible to achieve with traditional cone-based designs.

The moving mass of a ribbon is a fraction of a conventional driver, enabling transient response that captures the leading edge of every note with startling realism. Because the signal is distributed evenly across the diaphragm rather than concentrated at a voice coil, the ribbon moves as a unified surface—near-perfect pistonic motion with vanishingly low distortion at any volume.

The true bipole configuration radiates sound equally from front and rear, in phase, minimizing floor and ceiling reflections while creating the open, three-dimensional acoustic space that defines the Clarisys sound. And without a traditional enclosure, there are no box resonances to color or obscure the signal.

The result is coherence, transparency, and emotional immediacy that conventional speakers simply cannot replicate.

Clarisys Audio exists at the intersection of obsessive engineering and pure musical emotion. What began as a group of dedicated audiophiles fabricating parts for cherished vintage Apogee speakers evolved into something more ambitious—a fundamental question of what a ribbon loudspeaker could become if designed without compromise. The answer wasn't replication. It was reinvention. Clarisys develops true bipole pure aluminum midrange ribbons—a world first. Their double-sided bass panels deliver dynamics and extension that challenge assumptions about what planar designs can achieve. The entire lineup shares the same DNA of speed, transparency, and the kind of spatial realism that makes you forget you're listening to a system at all, connecting you directly to the soul of a recording.
