Chesky Audio is an American loudspeaker company founded by Lucca Chesky, who began designing speakers as a teenager after a summer research program at Princeton’s Applied Acoustics Lab. It is no coincidence that his father is David Chesky, the Grammy-nominated founder of Chesky Records and one of the most demanding ears in audiophile circles. Lucca’s insight was architectural: by engineering a 3D-printed monocoque cabinet that eliminates resonance at the source rather than managing it after the fact, the enclosure itself becomes part of the instrument. The result is a compact monitor that produces a holographic, full-range soundstage well beyond what its size suggests. The LC1 earned Gear of the Year honors and a Future Audiophile Product of the Year distinction, while the LC2 received The Absolute Sound 2026 Editors’ Choice Award. Every Chesky Audio speaker is designed, assembled, and hand-tested in the United States.
