I own Bliss Hifi, a high-end audio boutique based in Minnesota. This Audia Flight FLS4 stereo power amplifier is a dealer demo unit purchased directly from the US distributor in March 2025 as I was evaluating the line. I have used it for demonstration purposes and as a backup to my reference T+A HV amplifer when not in place. The unit is in like-new condition and in perfect working order. It can be sold with the remaining nine months of the manufacturer’s warranty.

The unit ships in its original factory crate with power cable and manual.

Audia Flight is one of the best-kept secrets in high-end amplification. Founded in 1996 in Civitavecchia, Italy, the company has built a devoted following among listeners and dealers who have compared the FLS4 head-to-head against amplifiers from Pass, Vitus, Boulder, Constellation, D’Agostino, and others at significantly higher price points, and chosen the Audia Flight. That is not hyperbole. It is a pattern that repeats itself wherever this amplifier is demonstrated. The FLS4 delivers 200 watts per channel into 8 ohms, 380 into 4, and a staggering 700 into 2 ohms, which means there is no loudspeaker on the market it cannot control with absolute authority. But raw power is not what makes this amplifier special. What makes it special is how it sounds doing it. The exclusive Class A current-feedback gain stage, enclosed in its own aluminum housing and encapsulated in epoxy resin for thermal stability and interference rejection, produces a presentation that is simultaneously fast, powerful, and musically refined. Bandwidth exceeds 0.7MHz, which translates to a transient speed and openness that you feel as much as hear. Bass has real grip and weight without ever sounding heavy or slow. The midrange is textured and dimensional. The top end extends naturally without any trace of grain or fatigue. At 82 pounds with a 2000VA shielded transformer and 288,000 microfarads of capacitance on the main power supplies alone, the FLS4 is massively overbuilt for its rated output, and that reserve shows up as effortless headroom and composure even during the most demanding dynamic passages. This is an amplifier that deserves far more attention than it receives in the US market, and at dealer demo pricing with a transferable warranty, it represents an extraordinary value.

More about the unit:
The Audia Flight FLS4 is a fully balanced Class A/AB stereo power amplifier designed and handcrafted in Civitavecchia, Italy by Audia Flight, founded in 1996 by engineers Massimiliano Marzi and Andrea Nardini. The FLS4 sits in the company’s FLS series, positioned directly below the flagship Strumento line, and shares significant DNA with the cost-no-object Strumento No. 4 Mk2 stereo amplifier. The chassis begins its life as an ultra-high-grade bespoke aluminum casting, machined and brushed to a high standard of fit and finish. The amplifier’s exclusive gain stage employs Audia Flight’s proprietary Class A current-feedback circuitry, housed within its own aluminum enclosure and fully encapsulated in epoxy resin to isolate it from electromagnetic interference and ensure thermal stability for all discrete components. The output stage uses 32 high-grade power devices in a fully balanced, complementary configuration. The main power supply is built around a 2000VA shielded audio-grade toroidal transformer feeding 16 x 18,000 microfarad/50V low-impedance capacitors (288,000 microfarads total on the main rails alone), with two super high-current power supplies per channel and four independently stabilized stages per channel: two for the input stages and two for the current-feedback gain stage. Power output is 200W RMS per channel into 8 ohms, 380W into 4 ohms, and 700W into 2 ohms (measured without current limitation). Bandwidth exceeds 0.7MHz. Slew rate exceeds 160V/microsecond. Total harmonic distortion is less than 0.05%. Signal-to-noise ratio is 110dB. Damping factor exceeds 650. Input impedance is 47k ohms (balanced), 22k ohms (unbalanced). Inputs include one balanced XLR pair and one unbalanced RCA pair. One balanced XLR output pair is provided for daisy-chaining to additional amplifiers. Two pairs of speaker binding posts per channel accommodate bi-wiring. Trigger mini-jack in/out sockets enable automatic power on/off when connected to Audia Flight preamplifiers. An IEC inlet with fused on/off mains switch is located on the rear panel. The amplifier is stable into loads down to 2 ohms. Dimensions: 17.7 x 7.1 x 17.3 inches (W x H x D). Weight: 82 lbs. Distributed in the US by Fidelity Imports LLC.
