I own Bliss Hifi, a high-end audio boutique based in Minnesota. This Shunyata Omega QR power cable is in on consignment from one of my local clients. It is 2M in length with a 15A C15 IEC connector. The cable is in excellent condition and in perfect working order. This is the original Omega QR, now succeeded by the Omega-X QR (original MSRP approximately $8,000+ for this 2M length, discontinued). At this time, two cables are available, priced individually.

The Shunyata Omega QR was the cost-no-object flagship of Shunyata Research’s power cable lineup, the result of a three-year research project led by Caelin Gabriel with a simple mandate: remove all constraints on construction time, difficulty, and cost to determine what is truly achievable in power cord performance. The Omega QR is built around two patented technologies previously found only in Shunyata’s reference power distributors. The QR/BB (Quantum Resonance/BlackBox) module is a miniaturized version of the technology used in the Typhon and Denali power conditioners, functioning as an electric charge reservoir that stores and releases energy to improve a component’s access to instantaneous current. The NIC (Noise Isolation Chamber) technology provides multi-stage, wide-bandwidth noise reduction developed by Shunyata’s medical division, Clear Image Scientific, for cardiology and neurosurgery imaging systems. The cable features VTX-Ag conductors combining a pure silver inner core with a concentric outer conductor of OFE C10100 copper (99.99% purity), formed into Shunyata’s hollow-core VTX geometry to eliminate skin effect and eddy current distortions, with fluorocarbon dielectric. Termination uses Shunyata’s CopperCONN connectors with solid copper contacts housed in genuine carbon-fiber headshells that attenuate micro-vibrations. Every element is optimized for maximum Dynamic Transient Current Delivery (DTCD) using Shunyata’s proprietary analyzer. Each cord undergoes four days of KPIP (Kinetic Phase Inversion Process) conditioning. The standard length is 1.75M; this example is a 2M length.
