Shunyata’s application-specific Venom Digital power cord brings targeted noise filtration to digital source components at an entry-level price point.
I own Bliss Hifi, a high-end audio boutique based in Minnesota. This Shunyata Venom Digital power cable is in on consignment from one of my local clients. It is 1.75M in length (standard) with a 15A C15 IEC connector. The cable is in very good condition with minor wear on the connectors and in perfect working order.
A Shunyata box is provided, though it is not the original box specific to this cable.
The Venom Digital is one of the most effective entry points into Shunyata’s noise-reduction approach. It was designed specifically for digital source components: music servers, streamers, routers, network switches, DACs, and transports. These devices generate a unique spectrum of high-frequency noise that rides back into the AC line and contaminates everything else connected to the same circuit. The Venom Digital’s built-in filtration targets that noise directly, and the improvement on a digital component is immediately audible. Backgrounds get quieter, grain diminishes, and there is a clarity and composure to the presentation that a stock power cord simply cannot deliver. At its original retail price, it was already one of the easiest recommendations in the Shunyata catalog. At preowned pricing, it is a no-brainer for anyone looking to upgrade the power cable on a digital component without a major investment. If you are running a stock power cord on your streamer, server, or DAC, this is the single most cost-effective upgrade you can make.
There are currently several other components from this client’s system available. Take a look through our preowned listings to see them all.

More about the cable:
The Shunyata Venom Digital is an application-specific power cable from Shunyata Research’s Venom Series, designed for digital audio and video source components. Designed by Caelin Gabriel and handcrafted at Shunyata’s factory in Poulsbo, Washington, the Venom Digital features OFE (oxygen-free electrolytic) copper conductors with a 100% coverage shield for RFI/EMI immunity. The cable incorporates Shunyata’s CCI (Clear Image Scientific) noise-filtration technology, a multi-stage broadband filter circuit that targets the high-frequency parasitic noise generated by digital power supplies, switched-mode power supplies (SMPS), and processor-based digital components. This filtration prevents noise from propagating back into the AC line where it can contaminate other connected equipment. All filter elements are passive and non-reactive, ensuring they do not restrict current flow or introduce dynamic compression. Termination uses Shunyata-designed connectors with solid brass contacts, crimped and soldered for maximum DTCD (Dynamic Transient Current Delivery) performance. Each cable underwent KPIP (Kinetic Phase Inversion Process) conditioning, eliminating the need for break-in. The standard length is 1.75 meters. Recommended for music servers, network streamers, routers, network switches, DACs, CD transports, upscalers, projectors, and other digital or video devices. Backed by Shunyata’s limited lifetime warranty (US and Canada).
